Hello dearest x o
Hope this finds you with the breeze at your back and the sun on your face (or vice versa), flow in your day, and a rose in your cheeks. I am satiated with chicken and pumpkin soup, and happy to have sunshine streaming in, a mini watercolour to finish, and a stack of lino blocks calling out to me.
I wanted to say hi to you, and show you my latest finished artwork for sale. Ta-daaa! Herewith my newest one-of-a-kind-watercolour, Pom Pom Posy:
I love these fluffy pom pom flowers – thanks Farmers Market nurseryman! – and this floral china vase; and wanted to try a loose painting/drawing technique on them that I don’t use very often. It’s ended up with quite a sunny colour scheme, hasn’t it? I’d mentioned this work in progress, back in this previous post, if you want to check out the photo I took of my Still Life set-up.
