7 Days of Giveaways – Day 2

You’ve all swelled my heart, thanks for joining in! I badly want to give this to all of you, but the random number generator says (drumroll) Number 2, ie. ZigzagFi. I’ll email you for your postal address. Read about the fun that’s been had at the retrospective post!

Hey Superstars of the Galaxy of Bold Soul!

Come play, today’s the second of 7 days of giveaways!

Leave me an answer (question below) to go in the draw for the second giveaway, a handmade watercolour bookmark (a real watercolour, only fun-size)! That’s it, above! I’ll choose the giveaway winner with a random number generator. By the way, if we’ve not met before, how did you find me?

Affirmations and compliments can really change how your day is going, can’t they? One of the best compliments I have been given, was somebody asking me if Tangerine Meg was my “DJ name”. I didn’t imagine anyone thought I was that cool!

Of all the compliments you have received, or affirmations you have used, which is your favourite?

See you in the comments section :)
Love Meg x o

7 Days of Giveaways – Day 27 Comments

  1. “you are the best Mummy in the whole universe” from my son on the Autism Spectrum. Made me feel pretty darn special.

  2. My mum calls me ‘beamish boy’ ~ often and always with a beaming smile. From the jabberwocky ;

” … Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
    O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!’
He chortled in his joy. ”

.. as an affirmation, and/but also as a common way she greets me ~ and I too can’t help but beam :).

  3. oh i forgot to say how i found you in the other comment..i was just googling around and stumpled upon your art work!..its so fun and fantastic!!..anyways the other day my gram said i dont know what i would do without you and that really stuck with me..the past few months have been really trying health wise and its nice to know that im being helpful and not overbearing..thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Being a new mom and cancer survivor, I have family tell me that I was meant to be a mom — I cherish each day with our 1 yr. old daughter, Savannah.

  5. Hi! I found you (along with the upcoming flood of other folks) through Catherine Caine’s newsletter.

My favourite compliment is a wordless one — the trust my cats give me, every day that I live with them. They trust me implicitly, even when I have to take them to the vet. It’s humbling, and so very real.

  6. “Mommy? You’re awesome.” From my then-7-year-old daughter.

    P. S. Catherine Caine sent me =)

    • Thanks heaps, bold souls, for sharing and being so real, reminding me once more of the simple affirmations of cats and family. You’ve all touched my heart with your recognition of a truly meaningful compliment!
Diane: What a sweetheart! She knows awesome when she sees it :)
Kate: I woke up to Catherine’s wonderful newsletter this morning – what a gorgeous surprise! You are right, a compliment doesn’t have to have words, does it? In fact it can be more powerful without them. I find hugs are like that too – irrefutable!
Robin: Enjoying each day is a powerful affirmation of life, Robin.
Lorraine: Your gram sounds cool! (By the way, what did you search for when googling (I like that new verb of the technology age!) around? Good work getting through your trying months of health challenges x o!
Fiona: How gorgeous! I would be beaming too :D
Robyn: Beautiful precious recognition – priceless x o
