Hey folks,

Up early to get a run in before a busy day! The Jacaranda trees are blooming, and as I ran through some of the blossom that had fallen I had a range of sensory experiences. The soft give of the petals under my shoes, the scent in the air, and the blue flowers above (still on the branches) and below. Jacaranda is beautiful. What a lovely tree.

The last 800m or so of my run I was rained upon; I didn’t mind; in fact we could do with a whole lot more of that. Of the three duck ponds at the park one is completely empty. And we’re just coming in to summer.
